Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Pega development and be proficient in leveraging the Constellation framework for building robust, scalable, and efficient applications. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing Pega solutions that drive business efficiency and deliver high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design, develop, and implement Pega applications utilizing the Constellation framework to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Develop high-quality Pega solutions, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Utilize Pega’s low-code capabilities to create reusable components and integrations with external systems.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on Pega Constellation platform features, best practices, and integration strategies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in existing Pega applications.
• Perform unit testing, code reviews, and documentation of solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and performance standards.
• Contribute to the optimization and continuous improvement of Pega applications.
• Participate in the deployment process, ensuring successful application implementation.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration with other systems.
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge of Pega best practices and Constellation usage.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Pega Developer.
• Hands-on experience with Pega Constellation framework and its modules.
• Strong proficiency in Pega PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander) and Pega BPM solutions.
• In-depth understanding of Pega’s application development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, and deployment.
• Experience with integration tools and APIs in Pega (e.g., SOAP, REST, MQ, Web Services).
• Strong knowledge of Pega’s DCO (Direct Capture of Objectives) and best practices for application development.
• Experience in Pega 8.x versions, including new features and capabilities.
• Familiarity with Pega’s reporting and dashboard features (e.g., Pega Decisioning).
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in a Pega environment.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
