Creative Dining is hiring immediately for a full-time Retail Supervisor.

  • Location: 3201 Burton St SE Grand Rapids, MI 49546
  • Schedule: Full time schedule. Tuesday - Friday 10 am - 6:30 pm, Saturdays 8 am - 4:30 pm
  • Requirement: 1-2 years of experience required.
  • Pay Range: $20-24

As the Peet's Coffee Retail Supervisor, you will oversee daily café operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. You will lead the barista team, support high‑quality beverage and food production, and maintain strong service standards while operating efficiently and responsibly. You’ll work closely with the broader dining services team to keep the café running smoothly and consistently.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities

Staff Leadership

  • Supervise, train, and coach baristas and café staff.

  • Manage scheduling, performance evaluations, and corrective action when needed.

Sales & Daily Operations

  • Coordinate front‑of‑house activities, monitor product levels, and forecast coffee and food needs.

  • Manage inventory, track waste, and support adherence to budget goals.

Quality, Consistency & Café Presentation

  • Ensure beverages and food items meet quality and presentation standards.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe café environment in line with health and safety guidelines.

Customer Experience & Community Engagement

  • Support customer satisfaction through friendly service and quick issue resolution.

  • Assist with in‑store promotions, seasonal drink launches, and other marketing efforts.

Menu & Equipment Support

  • Contribute to menu planning, vendor coordination, and product selection.
