Brandywine Counseling & Community Services (BCCS) is seeking a Peer Recovery Specialist to support our Hep C Elimination Program. This role is ideal for someone passionate about recovery, community outreach, and helping individuals overcome barriers to care.

What You'll Do with Us as a Peer Recovery Specialist:
- Re-engage individuals who have fallen out of care and support their return to treatment and recovery services.
- Maintain an active outreach and engagement caseload.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and clinical staff.
- Facilitate non-clinical life skills and wellness groups.
- Conduct community presentations and prevention education.
- Build partnerships with referral sources and community organizations.
- Provide discharge follow-up and aftercare support.
- Travel statewide to support screenings and outreach events.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- REQUIRED: High school diploma or GED
- REQUIRED: Valid driver's license with 2 points or less
- REQUIRED: Must Have Own Vehicle Available for Use - Statewide Travel Required
- REQUIRED: Must identify as a peer: BCCS employs a diverse workforce, and we especially encourage applications from those who are in recovery. This position requires that the candidate chosen for it is a peer. BCCS defines a peer as anyone who is in recovery from addiction to drugs, alcohol, or mental health.
- REQUIRED: Minimum of 2 years’ in recovery
- REQUIRED: 1 – 3 years' experience working with people in recovery
- PREFERRED: Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS). If you are not certified, certification is required within the first year of employment.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Pay:
- Starting at $18/hour
- Commensurate based on experience, education, and certification!

Skills Required
- High school diploma or GED
