Starting Compensation:

20.63 - 21.63 USD Per Hour

Working Location:

Fresno, CA

Working Hours/Shift:

Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, 4 day/10 hour work schedule. Working hours are approximate and may include flexibility as needed to meet client needs.

What you bring to SBHG:

Education & Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent (e.g. GED, HiSET, etc.) required
  • Personal experience as a consumer, foster parent, or parent of a child in the child welfare, probation, or mental health systems required
  • One (1) year of full-time experience performing non-professional, consumer directed services in a mental health, health care, or other social services agency / organization serving people with disabilities preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required

Licensure & Compliance: 

  • A valid California Driver’s License and eligibility to meet agency driving criteria.

How you will make a difference:

Provides outreach, advocacy, education, and support to family members throughout a client’s treatment and recovery process. Helps families identify strengths and needs, connects them to community resources, provides crisis support, collaborates with the treatment team on care and safety planning, and documents services while promoting long-term family self-sufficiency and engagement.

Division/Program Overview:  

  • Population Served (Capacity): Serves clients (ages 11-17)

  • Facility & Setting: Outpatient community-based services and support. Delivers client services throughout Fresno County within designated county limits. May be required to transport clients/client family members utilizing personal vehicle.

  • Clinical Services (Core): Individual and family Counseling.

  • Skills & Services: Medication management, Housing, Education, and Vocational Support services.

  • Role specific Benefits & Reimbursements: Mileage reimbursement included at a rate of $0.85 per mile and Monthly stipend included (Cell phone / Internet)

Skills Required
