We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging alumnus of The Agency to join our delivery team to support the new cohort to The Agency based in Manchester. This role combines assistant facilitation with light pastoral support – inspiring our Agents to have the potency to complete the sessions and eventually pitch to a panel of industry experts.
Please note that this opportunity is only open to those that have participated in The Agency as a former Agent.
Role responsibilities:
To assist the lead facilitator in the planning, delivery and evaluation of the weekly Saturday workshops with The Agency participants
To act as a role model and mentor to Agency participants on Saturday and Wednesday workshops during Cycle 1
To work closely with the young people to empower them to develop their ideas within the methodology of the Agency
To create a safe and supportive environment in which to deliver workshops with the participants
To support each young person’s development in the project and to support their ideas to the best of your ability
To create a dynamic and fun environment that facilitates a challenging creative process
To empower individuals to develop their own creativity
To share knowledge of Moston & Harpurhey alongside networks you may have
To ensure health and safety, dignity and respect, and equal opportunities in the workplace in line with Contact’s policies and procedures
Contract includes: 11 hours split across Wednesday evenings (4.30-7.30) and Saturday day time (10.30-5.30) and online training meetings.
4 days of essential Agency Methodology Training (Monday 24th August – Thursday 27th August) at Contact in Manchester on top of this commitment.

Skills Required
- Previous participation in The Agency as a former Agent
- Available Wednesday evenings (4:30-7:30) and Saturday daytime (10:30-17:30), plus online training meetings
- Available to attend Agency Methodology Training Monday 24th August - Thursday 27th August at Contact in Manchester
- Ability to work with young people, provide mentoring and light pastoral support
- Commitment to the project duration (September-December 2026)
- Ensure health and safety, dignity, respect and equal opportunities in line with Contact's policies
