At Pediatric Home Service, our RNs and LPNs provide 1:1 pediatric home health care, helping children with medical complexities grow and thrive safely at home. If you’re looking for a meaningful nursing job with flexibility, support, and impact — this is your season.
THE POSITION
- Location: Wichita and Surrounding Area (travel to 30-50 miles outside of Wichita)
- Schedule: Full Time Days, Nights, and Weekends
- Shift: Flexible to work a variety of days and shifts around the Wichita metro area, to support the unique needs of patients transitioning to the home setting. When possible, schedules will be created 2 weeks in advance.
- This position will also support a patient and family as they transition to the home setting for the first time, after a hospitalization or new diagnosis/technology. Ensuring the journey from hospital to home is a smooth process, starting in the hospital with bedside training to being settled at home and ready to hand off cares to the family and long-term nursing team. The Float Nurse helps the patient and family be comfortable and confident at home after discharge.
EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS:
- Must be a LPN or RN licensed in good standing with Kansas state board of nursing.
