Position Summary

This position is responsible for the overall product engineering team. As a Part Lead of the product engineering department, it oversees engineering development process, new product model scheduling, loss management and etc. Also, it manages new model launch, part selection and replacement, quality management in sets/parts, communicating with headquarter engineers.

Role and Responsibilities

• A high level of competence in Industrial Design/ Performance/ Cycle/ Design/ Circuit/ Standard/ BOM/ Quality management
• Support technical solutions for electrical or mechanical problems during development process and mass production
• Assist Product Engineering Group Lead in staff training and management
• Process answers and questions on product issues with strong engineering background
• Keep developing professional capability by attending job training/ professional association; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks
• Require to take a quick and direct action for the product problems occurring on the line.
• Provide daily assistance to the Product Engineering Group Lead and function as Manager in his/her absence.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management; job duties may change at any time with or without notice
• Gives input to Group Lead on budget development

Skills and Qualifications

• Education:  Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Experience:  Minimum of 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in manufacturing environment
• Management or supervision experience is required
• Experience overseeing project management process and keeping projects on schedule and on budget
• Experience with 6 sigma and lean preferred
• Experience in 3D CAD preferred
• Strong competency in verbal and writing communication skill
• Excellent proficiency in MS Power Point, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
• Strong organizational skills and work efficiency
• Physical requirement:   All employees for all positions must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 lbs.
