Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Partner with the commercial leadership team, providing guidance and influence to deliver on business results and longer-term growth model. Drive commercial finance operating rhythms, productivity metrics and champion strategic initiatives.
- Provide monthly & quarterly reporting in US GAAP with high level of quality in a timely manner
- Responsible for optimizing the pricing strategy and channel Incentive, working closely with commercial leaders ensure ROI and margin protection.
- Communicate in depth and timely business performance analysis, develop deep domain expertise on customers/market dynamics/growth trends. Ownership and accountability of Regional P&L from sales to EBIT and cash performance
- Ensure credibility through forecasting accuracy, and sustainability through strong embedded processes and trust
- Financial forecasts, alignment with demand planning and commercial revenue plan
- Provide input to PDx Japan legal entity account filings, tax filings and tax audits
- Ensure key processes and controls are in place to support a world class financial operation
- Drive operational mechanisms and continuously improve processes through Lean principles
- Drive month end discipline, NPI execution and budget planning
- Champion Finance Transformation through business optimisation, digital enhancements and simplification
- Partner with the wider International Region and GE HealthCare System Japan finance team to share the best practice
Role Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration and minimum of 7 or more years relevant financial work experience.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of Accounting Principles and Controllership including experience in developing forecasts & operating plans and leading business / finance reviews.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear/concise manner.
- Experience in a matrix reporting environment collaborating across departments and influencing without direct authority
- Business Japanese Language required, native preferred
- Advanced MS Excel user (required)

- Self-starter who can quickly and independently assess business requirements and become a trusted an integral part of the team.
- SAP experience is a plus
