Job Description

We are constantly growing and are now looking for experienced Product Owners to join our Endava team. As a Product Owner at Endava, you will act as the crucial link between our clients and our cross-functional teams. Your role will involve gathering client requirements, translating them into actionable tasks, estimating timelines, and guiding both clients and teams toward successful project outcomes. Responsibilities activities of OPO:

  • Prioritize items in the backlog for each team by discussing with OPOs.

  • Join team scrum meetings

  • Support team mainly with questions about resources, time estimate and prioritization issues, dependencies across SPs

  • Making sure to report issues if needed, for example delays, or with support needed external to the team

  • Sync with other OPOs

  • Sync and participate in pre-study and SP meetings (combining all other areas of the product), and reporting the time plan

  • Sync with test managers (TM) regarding testing and verification activities

  • Sync and reporting to E2E integration

  • Drive the backlog refinement meetings

  • Planning the sprint together with the Scrum master and team

  • Creating and updating time plan with the help of the XFT teams, the time plan can be for updating the documents of the prestudy and for delivery of the implementation, verification and testing activities, breakdown of activities

  • Creating time estimate with the team

Qualifications

  • +5 years of experience as an Agile Project Manager in the IT industry.
  • PMP, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Six Sigma, etc – Agile methods is a requirement; PMP cert is nice to have.
  • JIRA, Trello, SmartSheets, Trello, Asana, Microsoft Project, Miro, etc 
  • Scrum Master certification preferable.
  • Experience in mentoring team members that have no previous agile experience.
  • Knowledge of how to introduce Agile methodologies into new environments.
  • Ability to enforce Scrum and other Agile principles and to explain the benefits to team members.
  • Technical understanding and ability to provide some level of support/understanding to the consulting team.
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience of presenting to senior level stakeholders.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work in an adaptable and flexible environment.
