- Design and develop PCS architecture for BESS and renewable energy applications.
- Define electrical specifications, single-line diagrams (SLD), and system configurations.
- Select appropriate inverter, converter, transformer, switchgear, and protection equipment.
- Develop technical specifications and engineering design documents.
- Perform power system studies, load flow analysis, short-circuit analysis, and protection coordination.
- Ensure seamless integration between PCS, Battery Management System (BMS), EMS, and SCADA.
- Evaluate grid interconnection requirements and compliance standards.
- Support system optimization for efficiency, reliability, and performance.
- Develop validation plans and testing procedures.
- Support factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and commissioning activities.
- Analyze test data and resolve system performance issues.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations.
- Prepare detailed engineering calculations and reports.
- Develop design guidelines, operational manuals, and technical specifications.
- Review vendor drawings and technical submissions.
- Support certification and regulatory compliance activities.
- Collaborate with BMS, EMS, Project Engineering, Procurement, and Quality teams.
- Provide technical support during project execution and customer interactions.
- Support troubleshooting activities during installation and commissioning.
- Evaluate emerging technologies in power electronics and energy storage.
- Support cost optimization and design improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to innovation and product development activities.
- B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.
