PC&L Manager Germany (f/m/d)

Be our next connector of supply chain aspects between Aptiv plants, Customers and Logistic providers for Germany while leading the Customer PC&L Germany Team. This role is located in our German HQ in Wuppertal

Your role:

• Ensure right product, at the right time, right quantity and right cost available at customers

• Manage goods flow (Serial Production, Aftersales, Prototypes) from Aptiv  production plant to customer dedicated Warehouses and SILS

• Coordinate communication and information flow between Customers and Aptiv MFG locations in relation to delivery. Serve as a customer interface to Aptiv PC&L

• Manage and coordinate emergencies related to delivery

• Develop, maintain and strengthen good working relationship with Customer supply chain teams

• Monthly analysis of Customer score card in regards of PC&L area (delivery, packaging, labeling, etc.) and corrective actions in case of GAPs

• Monitor and drive delivery performance (Pickup Sheet attainment) from Aptiv MFG plants to SILS/WH

• Monitor and drive aftersales delivery performance and minimize backorders and VORs (vehicle off road)

• FG Warehouse and SILS (Just in Time, Just in Sequence delivery) management

• Ensure WH and SILS operate according to Aptiv and customer requirements

• Manage day to day WH and SILS operation through 3pl providers

• Ensure right part, time, quantity delivery to Customer

• Ensure compliance to packaging and labelling requirements of Customer

• Ensure inventory accuracy in the WH&SILS

• Ensure correct level of FG Inventory in the WH&SILS

• Drive optimization and reduction of cost for WH&SILS service by elimination of premium services, non-value added activities and continuous improvement workshops.

• Collaborate with Corporate logistics and Advanced PC&L on sourcing, selection & implementation of new WH&SILS 3pl

• Minimize Premium freight from SILS/WH to Customers by assuring right stock coverage in WH&SILS

• Minimize E&O of Finish Goods by assuring right stock coverage in WH&SILS

Your background:

• Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Business or Economics

• Work experience in International Trade, Industrial Systems, Business Administration, Logistic BD or similar

• 7-10 years’ experience on similar position with Analytical mind set in PC&L management

• Hands on in trade compliance

• Experience in automotive industry, ideally in the wiring harness / Electrical Distribution business

• SAP strong experience

• Microsoft Office strong knowledge

• fluent English speaking

• German language is a benefit
