Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an SMT Engineer located in Walker, MI

The SMT Engineer supports existing SMT manufacturing lines, focusing on the front-end PCBA process including placement, reflow, and inspection.

What a typical day looks like

• Support and optimize existing SMT production lines

• Own solder paste printing, placement, reflow, SPI and AOI processes
• Troubleshoot yield, quality, and throughput issues
• Establish and maintain robust SMT process parameters
• Develop and maintain process documentation
• Support production during 2nd shift operations

The experience we’re looking to add to our team,

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of SMT/PCBA manufacturing experience
• Hands-on experience with screen printers, SPI, AOI, reflow ovens
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards
