PCB (Printed Circuit Board) Librarian

What you'll do

• Manage PCB libraries for a multitude of customers with varying requirements and standards.
• Ensure IPC and company standards are adhered to for all libraries.
• Create detailed schematic symbols in multiple CAD software.
• Create accurate IPC-compliant PCB footprints in multiple CAD software.
• Interact with customers on a regular basis to ensure proper development of PCB Libraries.
• Interact with the PCB Design team on a regular basis to ensure libraries are functional.
• Maintain multiple logbooks for individual customers.
• Interpret electronic component datasheets and 3D mechanical drawings.

• Have good oral and written communication skills and good inter-personal skills.
• Can work to specific design guidelines/rules and defined schedules.
• Demonstrate exceptional time management skills.
• Demonstrate above average attention to detail.
• Any combination of education any experience in electronics will be considered. College level electronics certification is preferred.
• Experience in Siemens Xpedition, DxDesigner, Cadence Allegro, OrCAD Capture or Altium Designer is an asset.
