Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled PCB Designer with hands-on experience in designing high-speed digital and RF boards, especially around FPGAs, RF front-ends. You will play a critical role in the development of mission-critical electronic systems for satellite and communication hardware, working closely with system architects, RF engineers, and embedded teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in PCB design with projects involving FPGAs and RF subsystems.
- Proficiency with PCB design tools: Altium Designer, KiCad
- Strong understanding of high-speed design and routing techniques
- RF layout techniques (controlled impedance, matching networks, isolation)
- Power supply design and decoupling strategies
- FPGA breakout and BGA fanout techniques
- Experience working with:
- Xilinx, Intel, or similar FPGAs
- RF modules (e.g., S-band, X-band, GNSS, SDR platforms)
- Familiarity with simulation tools for signal integrity, thermal, and power analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing for aerospace or defense-grade electronics.
- Hands-on experience with RF test equipment.
- Exposure to satellite communication systems or SDR platforms.
- Schematic design experience using hierarchical designs and block-based methodologies.
Soft Skills:
- Strong documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple boards and iterate rapidly through revisions.
Additional Requirements:
- Passion for space, satellites, and ground segment technologies.
- Self-driven and willing to learn continuously.
- Willingness to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.
Not sure if you meet every requirement?
If you’re passionate about PCB designing and have hands-on experience, even if you don’t meet every single qualification listed, we strongly encourage you to apply. We value talent, learning ability, and real-world experience just as much as titles or checklists.
