YOU WILL BE:
Under the direction of the Manager, People Business Partner, as the HR Specialist you will serve as the expert for the employee talent lifecycle and support the People Strategy in the New York Flagship. You will closely collaborate with the Managers, People Business Partners and Store Leadership to develop and support the location’s Associates.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
3+ years of relevant HR experience in generalist areas including employee relations, training and development, coaching, change management, recruiting etc.
Demonstrated business acumen
Verifiable track record of success partnering with senior managers, serving as a credible and trusted source
Outstanding interpersonal skills; demonstrated influence and diplomacy at all levels
Strong communication skills; ability to build / maintain strong internal and external partnerships
Experience working collaboratively in a retail environment, with flexible schedule available to include holidays and weekends
Comfort working in various systems (Previous experience with Cherwell, Oracle, G-suite is a plus)
Support information for all employee lifecycle events:
Partner with Talent Scouts to manage the full talent lifecycle process
Administer new hire, promotion and exit interview activities
Oversee New Hire Orientation experience within the store; serve as an ad hoc virtual trainer hoc
Partnering with internal stakeholders to deliver an exceptional onboarding experience
Manage documentation for associate changes, including internal offer letters, salary, supervisor and position changes
Liaise with partners to manage general reporting and data requests
Support the PBP team activities throughout the year:
Annual Review Process
Objective Setting Process
Roundtables
Participation in Stores task forces and special projects
Actively pursue knowledge of retail business practices, policies, organization structure, roles and responsibilities to better understand the business
Under the guidance of the Manager, People Business Partner, supports and assist in implementing: training and development, organizational design, compensation structures, associate engagement, HRIS functions, and other compliance and community
Be available and responsive; provide customer service in a timely and efficient manner
Introduces new ways of optimizing efficiency and effectiveness
Diagnose opportunities for learning and development programs; participate in the design and facilitation of organization specific training sessions
Leads special projects and initiatives for key business areas and ensure deliverables are met on time
