Role Description
The role is aligned to the Strategy function which supports the Business Strategy team for the Private Bank of Deutsche Bank.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Business Strategy
- Act as a knowledge partner for the global and regional strategy teams.
- Provide daily industry updates to senior management covering competitor moves, regulatory changes, product & market trends and maintain a database of this information.
- Bespoke research for management meetings/ strategy-related discussions including market/industry research, country overviews, product offering deep-dives.
- Competitor benchmarking for market presence/ strategy, product offerings, financial performance.
- Lead the annual industry benchmarking process undertaken in coordination with external consultants and internal finance teams.
- Adhoc projects including evaluating strategic options for business units, tracking inorganic / growth initiatives in the industry, case studies to participate in industry initiatives/ trends.
- Write-ups on released consultant reports, updating league tables and financial modelling for business cases.
Your skills and experience
- 7-8 years prior experience in consultancy/ business management/corporate finance
- MBA from a reputed school / CA (first attempt or rank holder)
- Working knowledge of MS PowerPoint with experience in creating presentations / pitch books
- Sound knowledge of MS Excel required; macros/ programing for automation tasks would be an advantage
- Knowledge of Retail Banking / Wealth Management business preferable but not essential
- A self-starter with strong analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
