Essential Responsibilities:
- Manage accurate and timely payroll tax filing, reporting, and remittance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Manage Strada and ADP vendor performance, enforcing accountability and providing leadership on high-priority payroll tax research and issue resolution.
Help ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and provincial payroll tax requirements in a complex, high-volume environment. - Research and resolve payroll tax notices, discrepancies, amendments, and agency inquiries with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Review and maintain payroll tax setup in systems such as Workday and ADP Smart Compliance to support accurate withholding and reporting and system configuration.
- Support quarterly and year-end payroll tax activities, including reconciliations and required tax filings.
- Monitor payroll tax law and regulatory changes and help implement updates to processes and systems as needed.
- Partner closely with Payroll, HR, Finance, vendors, and tax agencies to resolve issues and support smooth payroll tax operations.
Assist with audits by preparing reconciliations, documentation, and payroll tax analysis. - Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and enhance employee experience.
- Provide responsive support for employee and stakeholder payroll tax questions while delivering excellent customer service.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years Payroll experience)
Desired Characteristics:
- Specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise with payroll systems; Workday payroll experience strongly preferred
- 5 years experience working with external payroll vendors
The base pay range for this position is $78,000-$97,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on August 6th, 2026.
