Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent for Payroll Support Senior Specialist.

As part of the GS Payroll Manila Capability Center, the role of Payroll Enablement - Payroll Support Senior Specialist will be responsible for providing support on specific payroll admin and reporting processes.

You are responsible for:
  • Being responsible in providing automation and data analytics for the team’s initiative related to payroll activities and reports on a timely basis.

  • Helping drive regional consistency and compliance in automated payroll processes, ensuring efficiency and opportunities for process improvements.

  • Interacting with both internal entities like Payroll Service Delivery, Global Process Owner (GPO) and Global Process Leader (GPL) roles, J&J compliance, broader HR and Finance functions, external entities and vendors.

  • Tracking, documenting, and facilitating resolution for all incidents and their impacts on day‑to‑day payroll operations.

  • Collaborating with vendors, JJT, and GPO Product Owners for root cause analysis and resolution of incidents.

  • Executing process steps for Usual and Customary Change Requests, including intake, impact analysis, budgetary impact, and following the established governance process for approval.

  • Participating in Automation and Continuous Improvement Global Initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Payroll operations.

  • Conducting assigned tasks pertaining to User Acceptance Testing and verification of system changes.

  • Seeking feedback, continuously learning, and taking advantage of opportunities to improve knowledge, skill, and experience, and monitoring results to improve effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Being knowledgeable in Microsoft Power Platforms, Alteryx, and UiPath.

  • Designing, developing, enhancing, and implementing technical solutions to business problems and opportunities

  • Formulating and defining system scope and objectives across diverse platforms, databases, software, hardware, technologies, and tools.

  • Implementing technical solutions to business problems and opportunities.

  • Working with the project manager and business analyst to identify the objectives and requirements of technology initiatives.

  • Providing estimates for development (effort, cost, and duration) and performing programming activities.

  • Participating in defining system scope and objectives across diverse platforms, databases, software, hardware, technologies, and tools.

  • Developing, coding, testing, and debugging new software or enhancements to existing software.

  • Analyzing business processes within support areas as they relate to existing or proposed systems and applications, and defining/suggesting improvements where appropriate.

  • Performing gap analyses based on current configuration/functionality versus new requirements.

  • Working on components of large complex projects with minimal guidance.

  • Sharing responsibility with other team members to ensure on‑time project delivery.

  • Providing training support for implemented systems and business processes to address customer educational needs.

  • Developing and maintaining system documentation for the supported software portfolio.

  • Resolving customer complaints with systems.

  • Monitoring technical issues with production applications.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • At least 2 years of experience in automation

  • Experience in Alteryx, UiPath and PowerApps

  • Willingness to work on a mid shift (3pm to 12mn)
