Ideally Dunedin or Invercargill based, with other locations considered, this role offers full-time hours (part-time flexibility also available) with hybrid working, while supporting diverse clients and delivering payroll excellence. Fully remote working may be available for an experienced payroll bureau professional.
Your Role, Your Contribution!
Manage end-to-end payroll processing and advice for a medium to large portfolio of NZ-based clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance with New Zealand legislation
Build and maintain strong, trusted client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for payroll queries and requirements, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements
Support a collaborative team environment by sharing your in-depth knowledge, contributing to process consistency, and assisting colleagues where needed

What you will bring to the role:
Proven experience delivering accurate, end-to-end payroll services in a multi-client or complex environment
Robust knowledge of NZ payroll legislation and compliance including the Holidays Act and PAYE obligations
Proficiency across several payroll systems (Datapay, iPayroll, MYOB Business would be an advantage) with strong Microsoft Office skills
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple clients and competing deadlines on a daily basis
Ability to build trusted client relationships, explain complex matters clearly, and bring a positive, solutions-focused mindset to everything you do
