As a Payroll Specialist on the Payroll team, a typical day for you will include:
- Provides support and ensures timely and accurate processing of payroll records by compiling, organizing, and reviewing for accuracy such as new hire paperwork, terminations, adjustments, and 401k contributions.
- Support Payroll Department by maintaining shared payroll email inbox, providing timely responses, escalating/rerouting incoming messages as necessary.
- Work closely with ADP Smart Compliance regarding uploading garnishments, correcting direct deposit errors, maintain Wisely pay card tasks on Payroll’s behalf.
- Calculate and process manual checks.
- Support accounting by providing month-end benefits and payroll journal entries to support planned budgets.

(Required qualifications)
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience processing payrolls of 1000+ employees
- Multi-state payroll & multi-state tax experience
Skills:
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables & V lookup)
- Able to balance multiple tasks
- Positive and professional attitude
- Maintain confidentiality
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organized, detailed, and efficient
- Work autonomously
- Handle-high pressure situations and meet deadlines
Education:
- High School Diploma
Schedule/In-Office Requirements:
- Hybrid in Waco, TX or Irving, TX
