Position Overview

Join us! We are searching for a dynamic Payroll Specialist who brings not only payroll expertise but also sharp digital and analytical skills to enhance and transform the way we work!
What you'll do:
As our Payroll Specialist, you will:
- Accurately process and oversee payroll cycles for all Dutch entities, ensuring compliance with local laws, CLA’s and internal policies such as SOX.
- Use your analytical prowess to interpret data and identify trends to inform decision-making.
- Leverage our new software and payroll service provider to optimize payroll processes and reporting.
- Maintain and improve the connection between payroll processes and insurances, governmental instances, pension funds etc.
- Collaborate with related teams such as HR and Finance, providing payroll-related insights, answers, and solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll regulations, technology advancements, and best practices.
Who you are:
- Bachelor level education, preferably in combination with ‘Vakopleiding Payroll Services’ or related education.
- A solid foundation in payroll operations, with a minimum of 4 years of work experience.
- Strong digital skills, including proficiency in payroll software systems and advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros etc).
- An eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy under tight deadlines.
- Analytical expertise to extract meaningful insights and solve complex challenges.
- A team player who can work autonomously and is self-starting.
- A proactive, curious mindset and eagerness to explore innovative solutions.
- A pioneer mindset - a focus on continuous process improvements and a drive to look for automation possibilities.
- Excellent communication skills to explain topics or answer questions clearly to managers and employees.
- Excellent proficiency in Dutch and English language.
