Run payroll on a weekly or biweekly basis. Ensure all data related with payroll is properly reported, maintained, uploaded into payroll system (ADP) and properly recorded in the Accounting systemn(E1).. Use administrative software tools to make sure employees are paid for the hours that they work; ensure the hours worked are accurate, the checks are cut correctly, and employees are paid on time and according to the labor regulations.

Role Responsibilities:
- Interacting with HR to ensure all new employees are properly set-up in the ADP Payroll System
- Liaison with ADP to work on issues such as: debits from Company accounts, reports, employee set up issues, setting up/changing descriptions, Adding new states (for new states SUI, SITand worker's comp accounts)
- Process from E1 all the payroll information and assure that it is properly transmitted to ADP system, creates batch in ADP and input deductions for and changes from the employees if any Review payroll file, tax and contributions validation and approve reports in ADP for funding.
- Run Bi-weekly payroll statistics and reports and provide analysis as needed.
- Balance payroll reconciliation and all payroll related funds
- Process live checks as required
- Checks/Stubs are processed for FEDEx next day delivery or distributed in the inner mail-box
- Support to employees with payroll payments or discounts clarifications
- Print 401k changes report and input changes for payroll (contribution changes, add or terminate loan deductions)
- Prepare 401k Payroll Contributions and process quarterly 401k company match.
- Follow-up issues with Company clocks (ordering and setting up new clocks, information not loading, etc.)
- Provide payroll and 401K reports and information to external Auditors.
- Worker's Comp monthly report
- Comply with federal state and local legal requirements and regulations and advising management on needed actions.
- Process and maintain updated Power of Attorney forms for ADP in order to process all quarterly and annual filings.
- Maintain the ADP General Ledger. Mapping for any new items that need to be added for posting payroll journal entries.
- Process VOE's-Complete any VOE's received and assist with any questions from third Party
- In contact with multiple states on a regular basis regarding taxes, workers' comp, Department of Labor, issues.
- Facilitates one-on-one training with Manager/Supervisors on new method of timekeeping and approval process.
- Process Tax Amendments
- Maintain Garnishments /Support Orders
- Provide records required to Accountants to assist with month-end
Education:
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance Preferred
- Working knowledge of government regulations that apply to the benefit program and the standard filings required by the Department of Labor and IRS.
Experience/Skills/Abilities:
- Previous 2 – 5 years Payroll experience required
- Ability to work well in a pressurized environment
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the business
- Strong interpersonal skills, organized, proactive, process orientated, and deadline driven
- Intermediate / Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- ERP System (JD Edwards, E1) and ADP experience preferable
