What You’ll DoIn this role, you’ll be the backbone of payroll operations, responsible for:
- Processing weekly and bi-weekly payroll with precision and confidentiality
- Reviewing timesheets, mileage, and caregiver visit logs for accuracy
- Managing payroll adjustments, deductions, and reimbursements
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor and tax regulations
- Collaborating with HR and scheduling teams to resolve discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate payroll records and supporting audits when needed
- Assisting with onboarding setup for payroll and benefits systems
Requirements
- Experience in payroll administration (healthcare or home health preferred but not required)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Familiarity with payroll systems and basic accounting principles
- Understanding of wage and hour laws (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
