The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $19.81 - $27.24 per hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:This is what you will do in this role:
- Working in collaboration with Payroll team to prepare and process multi-state payroll for U.S. hourly 1500+ employees and Canada support on 300+ employees
- Verify accuracy of employee information in the payroll systems: Workday, ADP WFN Canada, and UKG Workforce Management
- Participate in preparation and distribution of various reports to departments and managers
- Respond to inquiries from employees and 3rd party agencies
- Participate in integration of mergers and acquisitions
- Participate in system implementations along with identifying, analyzing, and improving business processes within our department for optimization or standards of quality
- Collaborate with human resource information system to ensure integration requirements are accurately implemented
What we are looking for:
- 4+ years of payroll processing, preferably multi-state payroll experience
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of federal and state tax laws
- Previous experience using UKG Workforce Management Time and Attendance, ADP Workforce Now, Workday, or similar payroll systems
- Expertise in Excel including experience with vlookup, xlookup and pivot tables
- Knowledge of US benefit plans and North American (US, Canada & Mexico) payroll processes is a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required, with Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficiency in basic accounting and business software
Skills Required
- 4+ years of payroll processing experience
- Experience balancing and reconciling general ledger accounts
- Knowledge of federal and state tax laws
- Previous experience using UKG Workforce Management Time and Attendance, ADP Workforce Now, Workday, or similar payroll systems
- Advanced Excel skills including vlookup, xlookup, and pivot tables
- Proficiency in basic accounting and business software
- Strong communication and time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associate or Bachelor's degree
- Multi-state payroll experience and knowledge of North American payroll processes (US, Canada & Mexico)
- Knowledge of US benefit plans
