Payroll Specialist is responsible for securing compliant payroll service delivery for our legal entities and performing monthly payroll activities in line with the applicable local legislations. We are looking for an experienced payroll expert who will join our Payroll Team and support the payroll-related data gathering, calculations, data entries, controls and validation processes as well as collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure first-class payroll service delivery to our employees.
 

Responsibilities

Payroll Specialist required to perform but not limited to the below tasks:

  • Collecting and consolidating payroll relevant inputs for further processing
  • Ensuring timely and accurate direct data entry in the payroll system
  • Managing payroll workflows to secure correct transactions, accuracy, timeliness and legislative compliance
  • Reviewing interface error logs to identify potential system blocks and resolving the issues before monthly payroll cut-off date
  • Controlling payroll outputs and delivering results as per agreed payroll calendar
  • Generating and maintaining payroll reports from various systems
  • Creating and controlling payroll related exports to authorities
  • Executing monthly SOX controls in line with compliance guidance
  • Tracking changes in legislation and initiating revision in local payroll processes 
  • Supporting payroll related internal and external audits as well as authority inspections
  • Managing employee queries via internal ticketing system
  • Providing expertise in payroll specific questions
  • Tracking down discrepancies and collaborating with responsible parties for resolution
  • Aligning with various stakeholders in connection with payroll subjects
  • Participating in functional payroll projects as required
  • Keeping up-to-date internal payroll process documentation
     
Qualifications

You have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with at least 3-5 years end-to-end payroll experience and technical payroll knowledge.
  • SAP & Payroll module and MS Office experience are essential.
  • Strong written and oral communication English and in Polish or German is a must. 
  • Highly proactive and precise working style with attention to details.
  • Ability to provide excellent employee experience.
  • Team player attitude with a transparent communication style.
