What you'll do:
- Coordinates and processes company-wide payroll while adhering to the applicable local, state, and federal employment laws
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for HCM data, system configuration, business process configuration and reporting
- Manages the employee and manager self-service features
- Processes status changes and updates ADP system
- Works with ADP representative to understand analytics within ADP system
- Maintains employee benefit files and other record keeping
- ADP cloud document configuration and management
- Provides support to plant HR personnel on benefit/payroll functions
- Processes open enrollment benefit plan transfers. Provides support to online benefit administration for plant employees
- Works with ADP representative to respond to notifications from state agency regarding unemployment claims filed by former employees
- Works with ADP representative to issue annual individual summary of benefits to employees
- Serves as an administrator for Certify. Works with accounting to reconcile payroll expenses
- Works with ADP representative to troubleshoot clock issues dealing time and attendance
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with at least 3-5 years of experience in positions related to HRIS, payroll, IT
- Minimum of four years’ experience using payroll software and processing payroll is required
- ADP Workforce Now experience is required – a minimum 3 years of configuration and payroll processing experience. A combination of similar system experience may be substituted
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organization
- Strong computer and database skills
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft Products
- Knowledge of corporate policies and compliance
- Demonstrated prior success in achieving results using team driven philosophies
- Demonstrated proficiency in supporting corporate interest to remote site locations and ability to communicate and exercise very positive people skill
