This is a hybrid position for Minnesota, Florida, or Arizona. Requirement is to come in once a year.
Administers the Payroll processes for timekeeping, payroll and the foreign nationals that are either employed at Mayo at all sites or visit Mayo as Independent Contractors. This involves coordinating, collection, processing, analyzing and making decisions as to implementing the information concerning the status of foreign nations who are receiving payments by examining their documentation, applying IRS and INS regulations to the proper tax status and classification of those individuals. This process requires constant supervision, review and checking of individual data as the foreign population is constantly changing their length of stay, their status, their funding, their VISA status, their treaty status and their residency status. This also includes the activities of the day-to-day timekeeping and payroll operations including Garnishments, Levies, Moving Expenses and payroll calculations for tax purposes.
QualificationsAssociate degree or 2 years of experience with payroll, benefits, tax or accounting.
Preferred Applicants will have the following experience:
- Oracle HCM Cloud (Payroll/Benefits)
- Large scale payroll processing 10,000+ employees
- FPC or CPP Certified Payroll Professional certification
Demonstrate proficiency in Excel, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and strong customer service and team orientation required. Previous report writing experience preferred.
