A Brief Overview
The Solutions Analyst II is responsible for the analyzes, optimization, and maintenance of technology systems. This role provides programming, configuration, and system administration support while acting as a liaison among internal functional teams, partner sites, IT, and third-party vendors. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and technical skills and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences to Avera employees through efficient and innovative system solutions.
What you will do
- Provide implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of applications while meeting established service level agreements.
- Design, code, test, and deploy enhancements, reports, interfaces, and integrations for system applications.
- Administer user access, develop forms, fields, workflows, dashboards, and automated notifications to improve process efficiency.
- Coordinate vendor system updates and ensure platform stability, data integrity, and compliance.
- Translate functional business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement new processes and optimize existing workflows.
- Support reporting needs by building, modifying, and interpreting customized reports and analytics.
- Serve as the primary contact for system-related inquiries from business users and partner sites.
- Track, triage, and resolve support tickets while identifying system trends and improvement opportunities.
- Uphold system data integrity through regular auditing, monitoring, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
- 1-3 years Payroll technology systems or related field.
Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Computer Science, Accounting, Business or related field
- Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) - PayrollOrg
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) - PayrollOrg
- Workday Pro Time Tracking Certification - Workday

Skills Required
- 1-3 years payroll technology systems or related field experience.
- Ability to work specified hours (Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) and be on-site at Avera Downtown building (hybrid possible after 6 months).
- Sufficient visual acuity and communication abilities to perform essential job functions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Business, or related field.
