What you’ll do:

With direct report to the People Operations & Reward Manager, you will make sure that payroll operations are carried out efficiently, accurately and in compliance with all payroll-related guidance and regulations;

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and streamline data flows;

Calculate the correct number of hours worked for each employee (incorporating overtime, bonuses, medical reports, etc.) and make sure taxes, deductions, benefits and other payroll-related elements are accurately calculated, documented and processed;

Monitor employee absenteeism as well as accurate and up-to-date employee annual holiday tracking;

Conduct regular payroll reconciliations to identify any possible discrepancies or errors and implement corrective actions;

Prepare and distribute payroll reports to stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of information;

Serve as the primary point of contact for employees with payroll inquiries, upholding a high level of service;

Maintain relations with Government Institutions and any External Consultant; perform on-time and correct declaration to Tax Authorities for new / exit employees and Payroll, as well as with Social Insurance Institute for employee medical reports;

Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations, laws, and industry best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance the payroll process.
Who you are:

You have at least 5 years of payroll processing experience in structured and complex contexts;

You have a degree in Social Sciences, Economy or related field;

You have strong verbal and written communication skills;
-
You have very good understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations and compliance requirements;

You have strong analytical skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy;
-
You are able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and work both independently or in a team;
-
You have the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality;

You are proficient in Italian & English, both spoken and written.
Preferably, you also have:

Previous experience with payroll management system (preferrable Zucchetti, Workday).
