What We’re Looking For:
The Payroll Processor supports accurate and compliant end-to-end payroll processing for assigned properties, ensuring Team Members are paid correctly and on time in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role oversees payroll reconciliations, deductions, garnishments, reporting, and issue resolution while partnering with Human Resources, Finance, government agencies, and external payroll vendors. Serves as a trusted point of contact for Team Member payroll questions and operational support, contributing to a positive, service-focused payroll experience in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do:
Process and audit Team Member timekeeping and payroll data in compliance with company policies and MET forms.
Ensure accurate, timely payroll processing in accordance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
Validate payroll deductions and ensure accurate reporting to stakeholders.
Maintain payroll data integrity by monitoring job code and job profile discrepancies across systems.
Reconcile hours worked and earnings against payroll control documents.
Review and process electronic payroll documents for assigned properties.
Identify, resolve, and document payroll errors before and after transmission to the payroll vendor.
Prepare and distribute payroll reports for Human Resources and Finance leadership.
Generate required weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual governmental reports.
Respond to Team Member payroll inquiries and resolve pay discrepancies.
Monitor and process daily payroll system notifications, including employee changes and direct deposit returns.
Complete payroll reconciliations for assigned properties within established guidelines.
Process stop payments, payment reversals, wage garnishments, and related inquiries.
Support payroll operations by managing departmental communications, working flexible schedules, and performing other duties as assigned.
Your Experience Includes:
HS Graduate or equivalent
2+ years of experience in full cycle, multi-state and multi-FEIN payroll processing
Experience in Workday, Dayforce, Oracle or similar payroll systems preferred
Knowledge of wage withholding orders and garnishments/levies
Outstanding mathematical, accounting and analytical skills
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Ability to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain strong work relationships
Ability to communicate cooperatively and effectively with others, organize workload, adapt quickly to change, maintain composure and make decisions in stressful situations, observe SLA’s and stated deadlines
Skills Required
- High school graduate or equivalent
