Performs a variety of driver pay and settlement activities, including processing, preparing, and auditing inputs into the system. This ensures drivers are paid accurately and timely. Provide support to Ruan drivers with questions about weekly payroll.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for processing and preparing driver payroll and final settlements on a daily and weekly basis with a high level of accuracy.
- Audit driver settlements for multiple operations using various pay packages. Work with operations to correct and reprocess any errors that are found to appropriate team member.
- Provide customer service support for drivers with pay issues. Be the point of contact for the driver, Operation, and Payroll. Correct any issues ensuring the pay and billing have been updated.
- Provide customer service to driver and/or operations by answering incoming payroll phone calls, or emails, related to pay questions or issues with the settlements on a case-by-case basis.
- Work with both external and internal customers to research and analyze driver pay audits and discrepancies.
- Research and correct any errors, and/or missing pay information for drivers' pay, follow-up when necessary.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in the payroll process and overall driver pay experience.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP) regarding pay structure and pay codes in the system.
- Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.
This is a full time position working a hybrid schedule in Des Moines, IA.

Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm

Education: Associate, Vocational, or Technical Degree or equivalent work experience

Physical Demands Of The Job:
May work in excess of 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, as required to perform essential functions. Team member will be required to stand, walk, sit, use fingers, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Team member will present a neat, clean appearance of self, and use professional business etiquette and language. Must be able to operate office equipment; including telephone, copy/fax machine, personal computer, have reasonable accuracy and speed on ten key skills or/and keyboarding.
