What You'll Do:
- Provide strong managerial leadership to the AMS payroll team by working closely with the global payroll supplier to process Semi-monthly/Monthly/Ad-hoc payroll accurately and on time for employees in the Americas/EMEA region (The United States, Canada, Brazil, UK, and other EMEA countries)
- Ensure compliance with regional legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, advising management on needed actions
- Maintain the accuracy of all payroll information by following necessary internal controls and approvals
- Provide superior customer service to all employees, answering payroll-related employee and manager inquiries within the expected time frame
- Conduct year-end tax adjustment reporting process (including communication with employees and payroll providers, collecting and reviewing data)
- Document and maintain process around tax and payroll reporting for stock reporting (RSU, Stock Options, & Incentive Stock Options) and international mobility
- Maintain strong cross-departmental relationships, supporting/aligning objectives and keeping each other well-informed
- Lead continuous process and system improvements and develop procedures and audits to ensure data integrity
- Conduct employee performance feedback and development
- Organize cross-training with other team members to ensure adequate payroll support
- Collaborate with business teams across EMEA for monthly GL reconciliation
- Support quarterly Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) review/reporting requirements and controls
- Provide backup approval and support for the EMEA & APAC payrolls
- Ensure mergers and acquisitions are integrated successfully
- Manage tax, benefit, and financial inquiries and audits as they relate to the assigned payrolls
- Participate in various People projects as needed
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Business related field
- Expert in the US Multi-State payroll and payroll tax knowledge
- Minimum of 7+ years of payroll experience, with a minimum of 3 years of managerial experience
- Excellent communication, system and analytical skills (able to quickly & effectively problem solve)
- Strong customer support leadership, resulting in a positive employee experience
- Experienced leader with high performing teams (has managed one or more
employees directly) - Versatile and flexible, with the ability to work independently on assigned tasks and take directives on given assignments
- Knowledgeable in global mobility and equity payroll processing and reporting
requirements (which includes RSU, Stock Options, Incentive Stock Options) - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly in Excel
- International payroll experience, especially in UK, Brazil, and Canada, a plus
- Basic knowledge of general ledger to support accounting inquiries and resolve
payroll-related reconciling items - Payroll provider management experience - including relationship, performance,
contracts, & fees - Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- CPP Certification, a plus
- Ability to work hours in different time zones to resolve critical issues if necessary

$107,280 - 134,300
