The Payroll Manager is responsible for the management of the payroll department in the timely and accurate processing of the bi-weekly payroll, generation of payroll reports and recording payroll and related activity in the general ledger.  Responsible for training supervisors and employees in the use of the electronic timekeeping system and responding to staff inquiries regarding timekeeping and payroll.   Also responsible for maintaining payroll differentials, holiday schedule, internal and external reporting. Works with external auditors in these areas.  Responsible for coordination and completion of special projects as they arise.

Hours:

Position is full time.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or relevant experience managing payroll for a large organization. Supervisory experience is required. Experience using Paycom and Workday payroll software a plus.  Must be proficient in MS Office and possess excellent analytical skills. Must be able to work with all levels of internal and external staff.
