Information Security Responsibilities
- Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
- Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
- Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic payroll leader to independently oversee and manage the payroll function for multiple entities in the US and Canada. This role requires a proactive professional who can drive operational excellence, ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements, and implement process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end payroll processing for multiple entities across the US and Canada, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local regulations.
- Own payroll compliance, ensuring adherence to all relevant laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements, including payroll audits and year-end reporting.
- Implement and manage payroll systems and automation tools to enhance accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, and Legal teams to align payroll processes with broader business processes.
- Oversee payroll tax filings, reconciliations, and audits, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of tax payments.
- Manage relationships with payroll providers and regulatory agencies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of payroll experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Extensive experience managing payroll for multi-entity organizations in both the US and Canada.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, provincial, and local payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience with ADP and Namely is preferred.
