We are seeking a highly motivated Payroll Lead to join our team. You will be a part of our Payroll and myHR Services Team where our mission is to provide an extraordinary experience to our customers (future, current, and former employees).
Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Calculating gross and net pay amounts (e.g., salary, overtime, shift payments, sales commissions, bonuses, deferred compensation, benefits, tax withholdings, deductions, payroll liabilities, etc.), maintaining payroll-specific data on personnel records (changes in wage/salary rates; pension, insurance, mandatory deductions; new hires, terminations, leave of absence, etc.), reconciling payroll records (e.g., payments, deductions, general ledger entries for wages), verifying and administering payroll data, monitoring and managing payroll legislation compliance, and answering questions from employees and supervisors regarding payroll matters.
You will also:
- Provide indirect leadership to a team of 3 payroll professionals in all activities necessary to process the weekly and bi-weekly, multi-state, US and Canadian payrolls for 6,000 employees.
- Maintain related records, reconciling tax and payroll reports, auditing payroll integrations in compliance with SOX, documenting and updating procedures, and preparing reports for select departments / stakeholders
- Perform as a subject matter expert and escalation point of contact for the payroll team.
- Stay up-to-date and manage changes in payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor laws across all relevant jurisdictions and updating internal business partners accordingly.
- Coordinates with the Payroll team to ensure accurate processing of taxes.
- Interface and communicate with ADP to ensure registration and processing of all Federal, State, Local and other Payroll Tax obligations are accurate and correct.
- Partnering with accounting for reconciliation of payroll taxes.
- Reconcile Quarterly and Year End Reports
- Work on assignments and projects that are moderately difficult, requiring judgement in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
- Provide extraordinary customer service to employees and managers in all payroll related matters
- Creates ad-hoc reports from Payroll and Time and Attendance systems on an as-needed basis.
- Interact with co-workers at all levels in the organization in a collaborative and customer-service oriented manner.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of multi-state US and Canadian payroll experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3+ years of payroll tax experience - demonstrated knowledge of federal, state and local laws and regulations governing payroll taxes and reporting.
- Experience with Time and Attendance and Payroll systems (preferably ADP Vantage, ADP WFN, Oracle, Kronos, and Workday)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools

Compensation and Benefits:
TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.
Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
