Project PRISM will replace Latitude Financials’ current iChris payroll platform with a modern payroll solution integrated with Workday. The Payroll Implementation Specialist will provide payroll expertise across solution design, data migration, testing, compliance and operational readiness.
Acting as a key liaison between Payroll, broader People & Culture, Finance, Workday and vendors, this role will help ensure a smooth, compliant transition with minimal disruption to employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide payroll SME input into solution design, configuration and implementation.
- Define and validate payroll requirements, processes, controls and operating procedures.
- Support data cleansing, mapping, migration, reconciliation and validation.
- Lead payroll input into SIT, UAT, parallel pay testing and go-live readiness
- Validate payroll calculations, statutory obligations, superannuation, tax, leave and deductions.
- Identify and resolve payroll risks, issues and defects.
- Support cutover, transition, hyper care and knowledge transfer with Payroll, Finance, People & Culture, Workday and vendors.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years’ payroll experience in a medium-to-large organisation.
- Payroll implementation, transformation or process redesign experience.
- Strong Australian payroll, tax, superannuation, leave and compliance knowledge.
- Experience with testing, reconciliations, parallel pay runs and issue resolution.
- Experience working with outsourced or managed payroll providers.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and analytical skills.
- You are familiar with AI tools - comfortable using tools to accelerate insights, automate routine work, prepare reporting, and tailor content quickly and effectively.
