Summary Of Role:
As a Payroll Coordinator, you will be part of a Payroll Team processing payroll for Hourly and Salary employees timely, accurately, and efficiently. You will be responsible for other post payroll and non-payroll activities during the month, quarter, and at year end.
Essential Responsibilities:

• Payroll Processing: Prepares, documents, and disburses payroll checks, payroll taxes, and employee benefit payments on a biweekly basis.
• Reporting: Prepares reports illustrating payroll expenditures, including tax payments and benefit plan disbursements.
• Customer Service: Provides excellent customer service support to both internal and external customers in a timely manner.
• Networking: Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
• Documentation: Monitors and ensures proper documentation of all employee payments.
• Collaboration: Works and collaborates with peers to gain support on projects and/or assignments as necessary.
• Standard Operating Procedures: Prepares and/or maintains Standard Operation Procedures.
• Process Improvements: Initiates and executes process improvements.
• Audits: Assists with internal and external audits.

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of an organizational structure.
• Minimum 5 Years in Payroll/Accounting field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Multi-State Payroll Expertise: Experience with Employment Tax Registration and Payments for multi-state payrolls.
• Tax Compliance Knowledge: Proficiency in Employment Tax Compliance, including withholding rules across multiple jurisdictions.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with ADP Vantage and/or Workday.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent planning and organizational capabilities.
• Certifications: CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or FCP (Fundamental Payroll Certification) is a plus.
