As we continue to expand our portfolio, we are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Payroll Coordinator.
The HR Payroll Coordinator contributes to the smooth running of the payroll process, complying with labor laws and regulations. The role also contributes to the development of a positive and productive work environment, as well as to the achievement of the organization’s strategic objectives. The position holder plays a significant role in enhancing employee relationships, minimizing complaints and maximizing satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Collect and prepare payroll data for entry into the payroll system
- Completion of all tasks relating to the payroll process (e.g. audit and filing of Employment Periodic Reviews and Payroll Taxes, agreement with accounting department before final submission to IRS systems, etc.)
- Manages HR Information Systems, such as Pylon and ESS, Clock-in/Clock-out (Orometrisi), ERGANI and EFKA
- Creating reporting, forecasts, and pivot tables, providing management with all necessary information in regard to the Group’s payroll
- Communication and cooperation with legal authorities (visits to the Labor Inspectorate and OAED whenever needed)
- Carrying out procedures for the recruitment. Collecting and filling all required documents
- Keeping employment records related to hiring, transferring, promotion, absence and termination in company and state systems, in accordance with the relevant legislative framework
- Compliance with the provisions of labor law on any issue that arises, both between employees and the company, but also between the company and state bodies
- Serves as an advisor of local supervisors on compliance with labor law provisions
- Staying up to date on labor legislation and informing about changes in regulations
- Ensuring compliance with Compensation & Benefits policy
- Complies and follows the policies, procedures and instructions established by the company
- Complies with the General Data Protection Regulation
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting or related field
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Excellent knowledge of Epsilon HRMS and Clock-in/Clock-out (Orometrisi)
- Excellent knowledge of ESS (PYLON)
- A solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws is essential
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effectively interacting with employees, department heads, management, and external associates or regulatory bodies
- Skill in managing disputes, improving employee satisfaction, and decreasing turnover through targeted actions
- Efficiently managing HR administrative tasks, including employment records, compensation and benefits compliance, and record-keeping
- Organization and prioritization skills for managing multiple HR functions and tasks
- Proficiency in the use of software systems and applications. Very good knowledge of Excel specifically is rather important
- Ability to create and present accurate reports
- Planning and time management skills, meeting tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and handle high-pressure situations
