We are looking for a Payroll Coordinator II to join our corporate finance team in our Buffalo office. This will be a critical member of a multi-company, international payroll department covering five countries and nearly 1800+ employees. This is a hybrid role, with the position working in-office a minimum of 1-2 days per week; may be more as needed.
- Assist in maintaining employee data in accounting system including reviewing new hire data, employee changes, termination calculations, and PTO accruals.
- Assist with weekly review, reconciliation, posting of timesheets and associated labor adjustments with knowledge of state overtime reporting requirements.
- Administer tracking and follow-up of late timesheets with associated accounting processes.
- Assist with processing bi-weekly payrolls for the U.S. including reviewing hours uploaded, benefit deductions, and tax withholding.
- Maintains employee direct deposit and Federal/State tax changes.
- Perform new hire SSN/SIN verifications.
- Working knowledge of reporting system. Run labor reports as requested.
- May handle other responsibilities as needed.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Minimum of 2 years’ related payroll and/or accounting experience is required.
- Payroll certification a plus.
- Knowledge of payroll, accounting principles and methods.
- Outstanding organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teaming skills.
- Relevant software payroll experience, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Skills Required
