About the role:
The Payroll Associate at Sun King will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timely delivery of payroll services across assigned Sun King markets, serving as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and in-country third-party payroll vendors. This role will play a critical role in maintaining payroll governance, data accuracy, privacy, and process efficiency, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across markets.

What you will be expected to do

Manage end-to-end payroll (salaries, bonuses, deductions) and ensure accuracy for all employees.
Coordinate with HRBPs, Finance, and other departments each month to gather payroll inputs and facilitate fund transfers.
Ensure adherence to tax regulations, labour laws, and statutory requirements, including filing payroll taxes and reports. Maintain monthly statutory tax receipts for all countries.
Maintain and update payroll records (e.g., new hires, terminations, transfers) in payroll systems and process changes in job status, titles, and compensation.
Compile and present payroll data, including summaries of earnings, taxes, and deductions for management.
Resolve employee inquiries regarding payroll matters, deductions, and salary payments. Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in timesheets and payroll records.
Prepare and provide audit-related documents to auditors and coordinate internal and external payroll audits.

You might be a strong candidate if you have:

3+ years of experience in payroll process management.
Working knowledge of payroll software.
Basic knowledge of tax procedures.
Familiarity with employee benefits and other wage deductions.
Strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
