As a Payroll Assistant, you’ll assist in all aspects of payroll from processing pay runs to answering employee queries. You’ll partner with a wide a range of key stakeholders from our employees themselves, Finance & Risk partners and the broader People & Culture function.

What The Role Is All About
Work closely with rest of Payroll team to assist with monthly payroll process, ensuring correctness, eligibility, and timeliness of payments
Assist with processing of superannuation, redundancy calculations, payroll tax etc
Engage with employees at all levels and answer queries in a clear and accurate manner
Assist in reviewing current payroll practices, determining what efficiencies can be made, if any
Assist with reporting where required
Who We’re Looking For
6+ months experience in Payroll or HR ideal but not necessary
Enthusiasm to learn and a passion for numbers
Payroll compliance knowledge, including sound employment tax and industrial relation knowledge
Intermediate Excel skills advantageous but not necessary
General problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
