In order to support our rapid growth we are seeking to hire a Payroll Assistant
In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the HR local team in Rhodes to process employee payroll, maintain accurate records, and help in resolving any payroll-related issues. You will be expected to have excellent communication skills, a problem-solving mentality, and a strong work ethic. As a member of the Ella Resorts team, you will have the chance to contribute to the company's success and grow in a dynamic and exciting environment.
Responsibilities- Collect and prepare payroll data for entry into the payroll system
- Maintain accurate records of employee compensation and benefits
- Help in any payroll-related inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Interpret and apply payroll policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards
- Assist in processing overtime, bonuses, and other types of compensation
- Prepare and distribute payroll-related documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in payroll processing with a hospitality industry background
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and PYLON software
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and handle high-pressure situations
