As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented Payroll Analyst to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Payroll Analyst to join our Payroll team. The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with relevant regulations, and providing support for various payroll-related inquiries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

  • Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees at our 32 locations.
  • Verify and reconcile payroll data including hours worked, overtime, bonuses, commission and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding payroll taxes, withholding, and reporting.
  • Assist with the implementation of payroll policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters and provide assistance as needed.
  • Generate payroll reports for management review and analysis.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies.
  • Stay up to date on changes in payroll regulations and ensure compliance with new requirements.
  • Assist with year-end payroll processing and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and files in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.

Skills Needed to Win:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business: Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing or related field.
  • Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working with large amounts of data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Paylocity HRIS experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Intermediate in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Multi-state payroll experience preferred.

Skills Required

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing or related field

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy with large datasets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field
