The Payroll Analyst independently executes key payroll processing activities for the Philippines and supports accurate, compliant payroll delivery. This role applies working knowledge of local payroll regulations, performs reconciliations and analysis, resolves moderately complex payroll issues, and partners with internal stakeholders and vendors. The Payroll Analyst operates with moderate autonomy and exercises judgment within established policies and procedures.
What you will do
Execute payroll processing activities for the Philippines, including data validation, timekeeping issues, payroll runs, and post-payroll review
Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory contribution requirements
Perform payroll reconciliations, variance analysis, and statutory reporting activities
Research and resolve payroll issues and employee inquiries of moderate complexity, escalating when appropriate
Process off-cycle payments, adjustments, and corrections in accordance with policies and controls
Analyze payroll data to identify discrepancies, trends, and potential compliance issues
Partner with third-party payroll vendors to support payroll execution and issue resolution
Support Finance with journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activities
Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries
Contribute to payroll process improvements and documentation updates
Handle sensitive payroll data with confidentiality and sound judgment
What you will bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
3–5 years of payroll experience with Philippines payroll
Working knowledge of local payroll compliance and statutory reporting
Experience with payroll systems such as Workday; intermediate Excel skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and manage priorities
Effective communication and collaboration skills
