The AGI Payroll Analyst is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end biweekly payroll process for all US and/or Canadian team members. Must be detail oriented, self-starter and a team player that can work with minimum supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Compiles data for a bi-weekly multi-state US payroll or Canadian Payroll
- Oversees timekeeping submissions from field locations and submits biweekly payroll for US and/or Canada
- Enters payroll information for incentives, referral bonus, garnishment refunds, and retroactive or benefit refunds
- Review calculations and audit reports ensuring the accuracy of a payroll
- Reviews and submits Record of Employment reports for Canadian Employees
- Payroll discrepancies research and resolution, including responding to EE questions
- Understand military time
- Attention to detail and possess and excellent Excel skills
- Ability to work with big data
- Performs other payroll duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Analyst, Payroll Coordinator or similar role
- Deep knowledge of state and federal payroll and tax regulations
- Hands-on experience with payroll software (Preferred Workday and ADP Smart Compliance)
- Need strong Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas etc)
- Excellent analytical skills, need to be able to work with big data
- The ability to work under tight deadlines
- BS in Human Resources Management, Accounting or relevant field
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of state and federal pay regulations
- Ability to work independently to resolve payroll issues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to adhere to a tight deadline
- Need strong Excel skills and able to work with big data
- Experience with Workday Payroll preferred
LOCATION/SPECIFIC WORKING HOURS:
- Headquarters, Miamai, FL
- Monday - Friday (8:00 am – 5:00 pm)
- Must be able to work extended hours on short notice during non-routine operations.
- Must work in office
