Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process including data validation, salary calculations, and timely salary disbursement for all employees, while ensuring full compliance with employment regulations and handling tax clearance procedures.
- Co-ordinate and verify with production supervisor and HR to validate attendance records, attendance approval, shift schedule, overtime claim and leave application before submitting to payroll vendor
- Ensure payroll is processed accurately and within stipulated timelines.
- Prepare payroll reports for other functions and filing for audit purposes.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies relate to attendance, leave and payroll calculations.
- Respond to employee’s payroll inquiries regarding salary, deductions, overtimes and statutory matters
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business or HR or relevant qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience, preferably with MNC exposure
- Strong and up to date knowledge of payroll, HR policies, employment regulations, legislation and best practices
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in fast-paced environment and manage payroll for large headcounts
- Strong sense of urgency and able to commit tight deadlines
