Payroll Analyst

Duties & Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in processing and administering the company's payroll on a bi-weekly basis, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
• Verify employee work hours, including regular time, overtime, and other pay adjustments.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records and assist with data entry into the payroll system.
• Support the calculation and processing of various deductions, such as taxes, benefits, and garnishments.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and provide necessary documentation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.
• Generate and review payroll reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with year-end processes, including preparing W-2s and other payroll-related forms.
• Respond to payroll inquiries from employees, providing clear and timely resolutions.
• Support audits and internal control processes related to payroll.
• Assist in maintaining and updating payroll policies and procedures.

Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing or a related role (preferred).
• Basic understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and benefits administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), with strong Excel skills.
• Experience with ADP WFN payroll software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other departments.
