About You

You are a detail-oriented and proactive professional who takes pride in delivering accurate, timely, and confidential payroll support. You bring strong numerical and data entry skills, a high level of attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring payroll processes are completed efficiently and correctly. Experience in payroll is highly regarded, and while qualifications in payroll, accounting, or business are desirable, they are not essential. Familiarity with payroll systems such as PayGlobal would be advantageous, but a sound understanding of payroll processes and a willingness to learn are equally valued.

You communicate effectively, build positive working relationships, and enjoy collaborating with a range of stakeholders across the business. With the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, you stay organised, meet deadlines, and maintain a consistently high standard of work. Most importantly, you approach your work with reliability, professionalism, and a genuine willingness to contribute to a supportive team culture.


About The Role

The Payroll Administrator plays an important role within the payroll team, supporting the accurate and timely processing of payroll across the business. This position is responsible for maintaining employee and payroll data, processing timesheets and payroll changes, and assisting with the day-to-day administration of payroll activities. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will help ensure payroll records are up to date, employee queries are resolved efficiently, and payroll processes remain compliant with relevant Australian legislation, including Fair Work and superannuation requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist Payroll Team in processing PayGlobal pay runs within the payroll processing timeframes, ensuring data accuracy
  • Preparing any payment changes and/or adjustments and submitting to the Senior Payroll Manager for processing
  • Accurate entering of new starters, terminations and updating existing employees
  • Be a point of contact for employees who have payroll queries
  • Understanding of, and the ability to interpret employment documents including, letters of employment, Enterprise Agreements and relevant modern Awards
  • Maintain accurate administrative records in accordance with audit requirement
  • Fortnightly and monthly reporting requirements for Internal Companies
