The Role

Job Description:

The Payroll Administrator will be based in Nashville, TN. In this position, you will report to the Sr. Payroll Manager. Full-time onsite presence 4 days a week with Friday's from home optional. The role involves managing payroll processes, guaranteeing precision, and upholding regulatory compliance at all levels.

You must have a minimum of 3 years’ Workday Payroll Processing experience and strong excel skills non-negotiable.

Here is a glimpse of what you will do:

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for employees located in USA using Workday payroll system, ensure compliance with federal, state and local payroll laws and assist in day-to-day payroll operations.
  • Work with ADP Smart compliance to make sure the quarterly taxes are filed correctly
  • Process Off-cycle payrolls as required for terminated employees
  • Handle payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist with year-end payroll process including reviewing and reconciling to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with international payroll
  • Respond to employee enquiries relating to payroll.
  • Prepare payroll and audit reports as needed

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience with multi state payroll and payroll tax.
  • Experience with Workday payroll is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Some experience working with payroll vendors for international payroll preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
