We are looking for a Payroll Accountant to strengthen our Finance organization and support our growing payroll setup.
Boost our team
As our new Payroll Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring reliable, and well-functioning payroll processes across several countries. You will join our small but highly dedicated Danish Payroll team with Group Finance, consisting of 35+ colleagues across our sites in Denmark, Germany, Switzerland and USA.
Collaboration is at the heart of how we work, and you will partner closely with HR, local managers, and international stakeholders to secure consistent and transparent payroll processes across the organization.
You will report to the Head of Accounting & ESG Finance. The position is located in our headquarters in Hellerup, Denmark.
This is how you impact our organization
In this role, you will be responsible for parts of the payroll process ensuring accurate, compliant, and well‑functioning processes, with a particular focus on:
- Ownership and continuous improvement of time registration processes in Denmark (ProMark), including transaction reviews, user support and training
- Ownership of payroll processing and coordination for multiple countries via the DEEL platform, in close collaboration with People & Organization
- Support and backup for Danish payroll execution (Visma) as well as handling of payroll‑related employee inquiries
- Management of reimbursements related to sickness and parental leave in Denmark
- Salary‑related reconciliations and support to month‑end, year‑end, and audit processes
Are you our next payroll pioneer?
You bring experience from payroll and accounting, ideally including Danish payroll, time registration systems, and international payroll processes. You enjoy working with complex processes and multiple systems (payroll, ERP, Excel) and enjoy solving challenges along the way. Experience with hourly payroll, collective agreements, or platforms such as ProMark, Visma, or DEEL is an advantage.
You are structured, detail‑oriented, and proactive, with a strong sense of responsibility and a natural service mindset.
You communicate professionally in both English and Danish, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues, managers, and external partners.
